The 1997 vintage of Daliwinnie’s Distillers Edition which has been finished in Oloroso sherry casks as always. Get ready for some thick jammy whisky folks! 43% ABV Tasting Notes: Nose: Honeyed malt soft sherry notes and a polite smokiness. Palate: Crushed up almonds dusted with sugar and oak spices. This is followed by dark berry jam with a side of dark berry jam smothered in even more sweet succulent jam. Finish: Some peat sneaks in for the finish.
